National Excellence in School Leadership Initiative 2020

Scholarships are now available for HEIA women members to undertake leadership development

All HEIA women members are invited to apply for a range of scholarship funding from the National Excellence in School Leadership Initiative (NESLI) to support participation in NESLI’s Advanced Leadership Program (ALP) or Middle Leadership Program (MLP). The grants are allocated with the specific intent of providing powerful and effective development opportunities for HEIA women members. Successful scholarship recipients will be awarded their funding at the 2020 HEIA national conference (or by an alternative method, if necessary).

Scholarship funding is strictly limited.
Applications close on Friday 29 May 2020.

Expression of interest

Please complete the application form online at www.nesli.org/heia
before 5 pm on Friday 29 May 2020, nominating the course in which you are interested.
A range of full and partial scholarships is available for HEIA women members. Scholarships will be awarded on merit, determined through a written application, the process for which is contained in the application form. Applicants awarded partial scholarships will be required to pay the balance of the fees to participant in the relevant programs.

Women’s advanced leadership program (ALP)

One full scholarship and five $1500 scholarships are available.
Created to provide tailored development and support to Australia’s growing pool of senior female school leaders, the ALP is enabling the advancement of high-potential women across all school sectors.

Women’s middle leadership program (MLP)

One full scholarship and five $1500 scholarships are available.
The Middle Leadership Program is designed to help aspiring and existing middle-school leaders better understand and take ownership of their role as leaders.
